Transport for soldiers and IDF bases 2026
A one-way run for a 55-seat coach up to 50 km costs 1,100 ₪, and a 19-seat minibus 750 ₪ — driver and fuel included, before VAT. Departures or returns between 21:00–06:00 carry 15% on top, and the calculator adds it up front rather than letting it surface on the invoice.
We run civilian transport for units, families and organisations. If your unit is required to contract through a Ministry of Defence tender supplier, check that before going further — that is not the route we operate on.
What usually matters to a unit
A 05:00 departure and a return after midnight
Most unit transport does not happen at convenient hours. A departure or return between 21:00–06:00 carries 15%, and the calculator applies it from the time you enter — so the figure you see is the figure you pay, including on a 23:40 return.
Distant bases and pickup routes
The base price covers up to 50 km each way; beyond that a per-km charge applies, measured on real map distance rather than estimated. Picking up at several points on the way to a base is priced as a dedicated booking — the vehicle stays with you for the whole route.
A price you can pass up for approval
The quote arrives itemised line by line: base, extra km, hours, surcharges and 18% VAT. That is what approving a budget requires, rather than a single "total" nobody can justify.
Matching the vehicle to the headcount
An 8-seat van, a 19-seat minibus or a 55-seat coach. One squad does not need a full coach, and three squads do not fit in a minibus — enter the passenger count and the calculator suggests the right vehicle, so you are not paying for empty seats.

Frequently asked questions
Can transport be booked a day or two in advance?
Usually yes, subject to vehicle and driver availability. Short notice does not change the price — there is no "urgency" surcharge here. The hour does: a departure or return between 21:00–06:00 carries 15%, and Shabbat and holidays 25%.
What does transport to a distant base cost?
The base price covers up to 50 km each way. Beyond that a per-km charge applies, on real map distance. Entering the origin and destination in the calculator gives the full figure in seconds, including the return leg if you asked for one.
Does the vehicle stay with the soldiers or drive off?
Both are available. On a one-way run the driver drops off and continues; on a dedicated booking the vehicle and driver stay for the whole window you booked — up to 10 hours at the day rate — including waiting between stops. For a team-building day with several stops, dedicated is almost always cheaper than several separate runs.
What about Shabbat and holidays?
We operate on Shabbat and holidays, with a 25% surcharge. It appears as its own line on the quote rather than being folded into the base price, so you can see exactly what it is.
Do the prices include VAT?
No. Every price here is before 18% VAT, as is standard for business quotes. The calculator shows the pre-VAT amount, the VAT itself and the payable total on three separate lines, so the quote can be submitted for approval as it stands.
